It’s no surprise that I’ve been looking at this Android phone a long with a couple others (Sony Xperia), however I stumbled across an article on Frandroid that brought up more details about the Acer Liquid. According to Frandroid the phone will sell for $520 (350 Euros), packing 256mb RAM and a 768mhz processor. The article also says that it’s running Android 1.6 dressed up with widgets, and is very responsive.

From what I understand, the Acer phone will go on sale in December with the White model. Then in January, the red and black models will release.

I’m not excellent with translating Google Translate and speak no French, so I’m not sure how much of this is correct.

Before I make any decisions, I want to wait until tomorrow when Sony “officially” announces their Android phone. Sony’s Rachael/Infinity/x3/x10 is rumored to run Android 2.0 with a custom UI and a 1ghz processor. I’m guessing the price will be around $850 and start selling shortly after the holidays.

Both phones are going to be nice and should work with T-Mobile 3G Frequencies. They also share similar physical characteristics, dimensions to screen resolutions.
