As a skeptic, the ever growing culture of “get rich quick” schemes really irks me. It could be that I just don’t understand it or possibly that I’m envious of the person speaking to a camera on YouTube about how they make thousands from click through advertisements. Either way, the end of the day I’m nearing my end of hearing about “how to make $100k a day from Google. Just because a few people work the system, which is in place to sincerely promote legitimate business, doesn’t mean you have to.
Aside from the reinforcement of rewarding the least amount possible, I just don’t see how it’s plausible to generate such income with these plans. Commonsense would tell you that if someone was making this much money, they wouldn’t be encouraging competition.

Search ‘Michael Lipson’ on search engines and you will find that I’m not as popular as I think. I had done little (nothing) in terms of SEO on my blog, because I frankly didn’t see it as “that important.” It didn’t bother me until I noticed that on every search engine, except google, I am found in the top three results for ‘Michael Lipson’ whereas on google I am on the third page.

Gamestop.com – Buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition – Xbox 360
I finally see a price and am discouraged that it is so low. While It’s an awesome package, the fact that they are essentially $70 Night Vision Goggles means I should start looking for a nice set of NVG’s and buy the game separately..
I should note, for a marketing ploy this has surpassed what I have expected out of companies in recent years. Limited edition’s and viral (eww. I hate that term) marketing are going to bring little attention in today’s economy, yet it’s the path a lot of media releases are taking.

I have been reading Google this and Microsoft that, not to mention all the Google vs Microsoft articles which have been written recently. While being a committed Google fanboy, I also have come to the understanding that Microsoft has several products I won’t ever be able to break away from. While everyone can speculate about who is better and claim their idol is the best, the facts will remain static about which company dominates what field.
