Site of the day: Whatsupandroid.com

Posted on 16 November 2009 by Michael

WhatsUpAndroid, while relatively new, is a great Android site. Rather than a hot news source, a lot of the articles are opinion pieces with some flare. The “Android PR Girl” comes from “Android Personal Relationships” and not “Public Relations” as one might think.

One that’s really emphasized on the site is Android as a solution, rather than a brand or product.   I really think as this site grows it will have a lot of potential.

Hi Michael, thanks for this mention. It was such a great surprise to log onto twitter and see the tweet. :-) The best thing is .. that you “got it”. You understand what ‘whatsupanroid’ is about. Yes, the site will not give the latest and hottest Android news. There are so many great sites that do that already. I won’t be just another “grabber” for content. What I will do is help spread the news to other sources, RT info on twitter and definitely, try to get an understanding of what everyone is saying for all angles and sources and come up with some thing that puts these thoughts together, while sharing my opinion.

Yes, the PR is not for Public Relations but People Relationships. I am passionate about building bridges and helping people connect with one another. In truth, I am actually, the Android Community’s best friend. Thank for sharing my passion.

    Love,
