Times are changing and it feels good.

First, and probably most noticeable, I added some advertisements to my blog.  I want to start by saying  that the 125×125 ads on the menu are for sites which I really am behind.  The first is Elegant Themes, as you can tell this site is running on one of their themes (CherryTruffle).  Aside from looking amazing the themes have full browser support and are about the easiest to manage.  The next advertisement is for JustHost, Just Host has been a great host for smaller and less visited sites.  Design-Newz, all I have to say is that it’s an amazing resource which I hope all developers and designers follow.  The last ad is for IBuyPower, a great source for custom PC’s.  Originally, I came across IBuyPower on Engadget, however after my brother bought one of their laptops I saw the company had a lot of potential.

Now for the ugly ad at the bottom of the menu; I chose to bring back Google Ads as a way to generate a little bit of revenue for the site.  While I don’t have the traffic to generate a huge amount of money from Adsense, I hope that I will at least be able to recoup some of the hosting costs, so I can keep the site as clean as possible.  I’m still playing around with placement, however, for the time being they’ll probably sit at their current location.  Again, my only goal is to recoup some of the hosting costs.. if you’d like you’d like to help (or advertise your site) contact me.

I am sorry about my absence; however I hope that my return will be a strong one. Right now I am writing a series of articles, on Smart Phones, once I complete the batch I’ll release them and get on to regular writing.

Expecting the inevitable

There will be a series of hiccups in the near future; between moving (houses and servers) and holiday vacations I am not sure how often I’ll be able to write.  Therefore, I will try my absolute hardest to write the best articles I can.  The longest I’ll be without communication will probably be when we move houses, which has become a whole new hectic situation.

What the future holds

Until some things work out, I’m using my blog for writing about a whole mess of things.  As things start to work themselves out, a lot of the articles will have their own places on other sites and I’ll be able to really focus my blog on more specific topics. There are a lot of things in the works; hopefully they really start to pick up steam.
